The Teen Workforce Initiative (TWI) is a collaboration between St.
Joseph the Worker and Dress for Success Phoenix to assist teens
and young adults become successfully employed in quality jobs to
ensure they do not fall into the troubling demographic of disconnected
youth.
TWI provides clients with access to resources that prepare them to be
workforce-ready and better long-term employees. Our mission is to
enhance the likelihood of self-sufficiency in young adults that will
continue into their futures and creating a difference for their
futures. These resources are now available through the TWI app.
Whether looking for your first job, a better paying job or asking your
current employer for a raise or promotion, the TWI app will help you.
Build the skills necessary to accomplish these goals in an engaging,
fun approach.
Each time you log in, you earn points which can be redeemed for gift
cards! Create a resume, build soft skills by watching a workshop,
complete job readiness quizzes, browse through job postings, brush
up on your interviewing skills, request resources for your new job, and
receive badges and points for every task you complete!
Every badge brings you one step closer to finding that job or getting
that promotion (and, of course, earning those gift cards!). Don’t forget
to refer a friend and you will earn points for that, too!
