Your download of the OnStar Guardian app does more than offer added peace of mind for you and your family. We’ll donate $1 to the Alzheimer's Association (up to

OnStar Safety & Security Members receive the OnStar Guardian app as part of their plan. If you don’t own a GM vehicle, you can try it for 30 days, and after that, it is only $15 a month.

Mobile Crash Response
Help in a crash — even if you or your loved ones can’t ask for it. OnStar Guardian is designed to use smartphone sensors to detect a crash — in any vehicle. In these situations, the app can automatically connect to an OnStar Emergency-Certified Advisor who can send First Responders, all while staying on the line until help arrives.

Roadside Assistance
Your loved ones can get a tow, a battery charge, help with a flat tire or have their doors unlocked. They can even get fuel if they run out of gas.

Emergency Services
The red Emergency button gives your family access to an Emergency-Certified Advisor 24/7. They can assess a situation, contact 911 and stay on the line until First Responders arrive.

Location Status
Save and share locations with loved ones — even get notifications when they leave for or arrive at their destination — so you’ll know when they get there safely.
