Q: Will the Movie Creator app be supported in the future?
A: If the app was pre-installed, it will be updated (by distribution of a modified version) along with Xperia™ device software updates. Q: Will I be able to use the Movie Creator app after October 1, 2021, or February 1, 2022?
A: Yes, you can continue to use the app until you uninstall it.

Q: If I purchase a new device, will Highlight Movies created by Movie Creator be automatically transferred to it?
A: No, all Highlight Movies created by Movie Creator are saved in the Movie Creator app. To be able to use them on your new device, you need to export your Highlight Movies in MP4 file format to the SD card or a cloud service, and then import the files directly to your new device. Please note that if you uninstall the Movie Creator app before exporting Highlight Movies, they will be permanently lost.

Enjoy your latest shots in an auto-generated movie! Movie Creator automatically creates short movies using your photos and videos. You will be notified when a Highlight Movie is created. You can enjoy your story and simply export it as a video file to share it further.
