A special feature of the app is the "reading function". In addition to providing information for parents, the app aims to relieve the pedagogical staff in day-care centers by answering recurring questions from parents.
This app was funded as part of the federal program “Kita-Entry: Building Bridges in Early Education” and was funded by the City of Würzburg in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Harald Wehnes, Institute for Computer Science at the University of Würzburg, and Mr. Lorenz Pfeifer.
Special thanks go to the students at the Ursuline School in Würzburg and their teachers Hildegard Carl and Sascha Wehmeier from Bayerischer Rundfunk for the sound recordings of the reading function.
“Kita-Entry: Building Bridges in Early Education” is a program of the Federal Ministry for Family, Seniors, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ).
