A click on any topic in the timeline will open a window with a brief explanation and links to additional sources. The application combines the history of the Jewish people along with the world's, Jewish demography, immigration, empires, periods, historical figures, leaders, literature, and languages. Combining the different subjects and including both "traditional" and "secular" topics, allows the user to see the whole picture.
