This is not the official F1 TV app, in fact, it's just a browser that lets you browse https://f1tv.formula1.com with a few "clicks" less on your Android TV using D-Pad compared to a conventional Android TV browser. The advantage of having a dedicated browser for F1 TV is that you don't have to adjust the settings of your default browser and the usability is (and will be) optimized for watching F1 TV.

Important: You will need an F1 TV subscription to watch F1 TV.

Any content made available on https://f1tv.formula1.com is property of Formula 1 and not owned by me by any means. As mentioned before, this is just a dedicated "browser" for visiting the F1 TV web page. Therefore, service quality-related issues (availability, performance, etc.) should be addressed directly to Formula 1.

Usage: Navigate through the F1 TV web page using the remote control (D-PAD). After selecting a video, it goes automatically into full-screen mode. In full-screen video mode, you can start/stop, fast-forward, or rewind the video using remote control buttons (center, right and left buttons respectively). To exit the full-screen, press back button on the remote control.

This demo version (0.1.0) of the app contains only a subset of features that are planned for the first full release. The following features are planned for the first official release (1.0.0):
• User-specific settings and preferences possibilities: Customization of highlight style, color, etc. Configuration of various default values used in the app.
• Possibility to manage cookies and site settings.
• Custom Video Player optimized for Android TV.
• Usability optimization to make the web page to behave more like an app and easier control using the D-Pad.
