What is ERC unlock code?

Usually, Dead battery or removing the device for repairs can cause units to be locked in some Japan imported cars. To unlock unit it requires ERC unlock code or ERC password. This app takes ERC serial numbers and decodes it into ERC unlock code / ERC password when entered in Audio Unit restores various functions of unit i.e. radio, cd, DVD player, BT, navigation and other functions of the unit where applicable.

How to find ERC Serial Number?

Press and hold the main button on your navigation player and turn on off your parking lights 3 to 4 times until a new screen appears. Press the only active button, on-screen and you will get the screen where is your 18 digits serial number.
