The great soul breasted his last in village mehta while reciting waheguru mantra at the time 02:10 am on 20th june 1969 (on 15th harh bikrami 2026) he made his way to sachkhand at the place of bhora sahib.the 13th head of damdami taksal sant giani kartar singh ji khalsa bhindranwale got built the gurudwara gurdarshan parkash in the sweet memory of sant giani gurbachan singh ji khalsa bhindranwale and started a sangeet academy. He produced thousands of people as granthis and ragis and did the sacred service of preaching of gurbani. He was born in the village-purane bhure, tehsil patti (kasoor) distt- amritsar (lahore)on thursday 4th october 1932,assu sudi panchami on samat 1989. In the house of father jathedar baba jhanda singh ji and mother mata labh kaur ji on the 30th birth anniversary of shri guru gobind singh ji on 18th january in 1967, day wednesday sant giani gurbachan singh ji khalsa bhindranwale declared sant giani kartar singh ji as 13th head of damdami taksal at takhat shri harmandar ji patna sahib. He breathed his last on 16th august 1977 and went to sachkhand. The small nishan sahib ever remind us to his sweet memory and contribution made towards spread of sikh panth. After him the service of panth done by sany giani jarnail singh ji khalsa bhindranwale is very well known to the sadh sangat. He was born on 2nd june 1947 on monday in village rode, distt-faridkot in the home of father jathedar baba joginder singh ji and mata nihaal kaur ji.
