Chaguzi is a mobile application (app) that can be downloaded freely. It is currently available for android phones only. Other versions will become available in the future. The app is available as standard and premium.

The standard version enables you to search and find any pharmaceutical product in any location/store near you. In addition to these features, the premium version provides users with the prices of the products in questions at the different stores.

Main Functionalities
The application comes with the following main functionalities. Pharmacy Locator, Doctors Directory, Drug Directory and Health Center Modules. The application also has features; chat, appointments, insurance schemes and news in health. More details on each below.

Drug Finding
You can search for any pharmaceutical or medical product either by checking a specific pharmacy or by using your current location to find a pharmacy that may have that product. The application also provides the contact information of the pharmacies, as well as a map to direct the user.

Pharmacy Locating
The Pharmacy locator module by default displays the list of pharmacies within a 2KM radius of the user of the app. The pharmacy list comprises details of the pharmacy and a link providing directions to the location of the pharmacy.The application will also provide information on prices of products sold by pharmacies for those pharmacies that will be open to sharing this information.

Drug and Pharmacy Directory
These modules simply display the list of drugs in the NDA registry and the list of Pharmacies in the country (Currently Uganda and Rwanda).

Doctors’ Directory
This displays a list of doctors licensed in the country (Currently Uganda and Rwanda), by location and by specialty.

Chat
The app facilitates communication between different app users e.g. doctors, patients, medical centers and pharmacies

Appointments
A patient can schedule an appointment with any other user e.g. a doctor and the app provides push notifications and email notifications
