Practical and personal: your BARMER app on the go
With the BARMER app you can deal with many matters quickly and easily digitally:
- Change personal data:
Let us know if something has changed for you, e.g. your address or bank details. You can also use the app to issue a SEPA direct debit mandate.
- Request certificates:
Simply download documents such as membership certificates, contribution certificates, proof of insurance for the university or foreign health insurance certificate. You can also upload certificates of study or school and request a new social security card.
- Submit applications:
You can easily submit many applications digitally, e.g. for maternity benefit, child sickness benefit, care benefits or the co-insurance of a family member. You can also request a recipe code for a digital health application (DIGA) here.
- Health manager:
With our health manager you can finally keep track of things. Organizing check-up appointments is now child's play. In addition, you will never again miss a vaccination that is due and have full transparency of your bills with the cost overview. Your dental bonus booklet is now also digital.
- New health card:
Is your health card lost or broken? Ask for a new one.
- Post office box:
Write to us via the online mailbox - your safe and fast communication channel to BARMER. You can be informed about new messages via notifications (push).
- AU upload:
In the event of illness, save yourself the postage and annoyance of going to the mailbox. Use the BARMER app to take a picture of your sick leave and send it to BARMER.
- BARMER Kompass (processing status of sick pay):
Here you can always get transparent information about the processing of your sick leave and the time when and in what amount your sickness benefit was paid.

- Sicherheit geht vor: Die BARMER-App funktioniert nur für einen Nutzer pro Gerät.
- Als Bestandsnutzer werden Sie nach dem Login einmalig um die Prüfung ihrer Angaben gebeten. Anschließend können Sie die Anmeldung mit biometrischen Daten erneut aktivieren.
